Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love the cooler weather
and the beautiful fall colors. I hope you can take time out and
appreciate God’s creation wherever you live.
I need your help for CWM interviews. I need more CWMs who are willing
to be interviewed for our monthly feature. The process is relatively
painless. Send me an email to Kimberly@kimberlychastain.com
and put interview in the subject heading. I will then email you
the questions.
Shoebox time
One of my favorite things to do with my children (even now that
they are older) is the Samaritan’s Purse shoeboxes. This is
a wonderful thing to do even with young children. Fill a shoebox
of items for a little boy or girl for Christmas who probably has
never received a Christmas gift ever. The drop off time for boxes
is in mid November, so it is time to get started. To find out more

Interview
This month we are privileged to have Cynthia who lives in the United
States. She is 43 and married. She has a son age 12 and a daughter
who is 10. Cynthia is a Children’s Ministry Director at her
church.
Cynthia shares with us her joys in being a CWM: I have always enjoyed
each development stage my children have gone through and I have
been blessed with a flexible work schedule that has allowed me to
be there with them. On the other hand, I do like to keep myself
busy and useful. Now that my children are older, I enjoy having
the opportunity to work and help provide for our needs. Working
for our church also enables me to help the younger moms that are
coming up with my experiences and hopefully my positive example.
Cynthia struggles with: When you are raising a family and working,
there are always conflicts. Conflicts can be in schedules, sickness,
deadlines and missed meetings.
Favorite Bible Verse:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Phil. 4:13
What is God teaching you right now?
I’m learning to trust in Him for provisions. And patience…always
patience!
Words of Encouragement for other Christian Working Moms: There
are times when things seem out of control. God is there in those
times too.
Thanks for sharing Cynthia. Often when I look back over my life
I clearly see God’s hand in those out of control times.
Final Thoughts
Take time today to thank God for your children (gifts from Him).
Ask that God will use them for His glory, no matter how young. Children
often can reach people that we as adults cannot.
Till next time,
